The End of the Free Fliers Cup #1
The Free Fliers have formed — their plan to take out Aquila’s dark-matter fiber network is in progress. 🚀
Aquila’s adopted home planet, Eagle’s Rest, in a remote constellation (a small former mining colony), is the target of this operation. The Free Fliers need to find the ultimate pilot capable of invading the planet’s defense perimeter and destroying the heart of his comms base.
Free Flier Cup #1 is finalized — the ultimate pilot that will invade Eagle’s Rest is one step closer. Congratulations to all participants, the top 16, and especially the winner, [TeamFr] JoffJeffz, who is pursuing his dream towards Eagle’s Rest, being crowned as the Battle King for the following week.
As we move on to Free Fliers Cup #2, let’s take a look at the structure of Operation: Eagle’s Rest.
Free Fliers Cup #1 took place during 16– 23 September 2022. Now we are moving towards Free Fliers Cup #2 which will take place from 30 September — 07 October 2022, starting and ending at 12PM CET.
After the 3 Free Fliers Cups, the Top 16 players with the most cumulated points will qualify for the Freedom Strike grand event.

The Battle for the Eagle’s Rest is far from over. Although Aquila has taken the first hit, and fierce pilots have emerged from the shadows to fight the evil, we still have two more Free Fliers Cup ahead of us before the final “Freedom Strike”.
